Symantec are a global leader in cyber security, however they have had trouble when attempting to communicate their key product offerings. In partnership with Ingram Micro, Symantec approached agency with the challenge of creating materials which would encourage engagement amongst salespeople and educate them on how to sell Symantec products. A focus day was planned to reach out to the sales organisation and agency developed marketing materials which were aligned to achieve the objectives set by Symantec. From these initial discussions the ‘It’s not rocket science’ campaign was born. An email, sales hand-out and pull up banners were designed in order to increase awareness and effectively inform the sales floor. Following the campaign Symantec saw a wider understanding of sales best practice and saw a subsequent increase in transactions.
